Leicester > community development
Our community development worker assists refugee community organisations and support groups in Leicester to develop services and build their organisations to help the integration of refugees.
Recent community development work includes:
- Fundraising for childcare training for women
- Advice training for refugee community organisations
- Training in awareness raising for various statutory organisations, including teachers, social workers and Connexions staff
- Helping to set up a Kurdish Women's Group
