Leicester > in partnership
Our asylum team in Leicester works in partnership with many local agencies both statutory and voluntary sector to enable a better more holistic service for asylum seekers.
In 2000 we set up and chaired the Voluntary Sector Forum and continue to play a key role in this Forum as well as the Multi Agency Forum and the East Midlands Consortium.
We are involved in developing various projects and are open and receptive to working with partners in developing new initiatives.
The Voluntary Sector forum have produced a Destitution report called 'What am I living for?' Living on the Streets of Leicester. It was launched during Refugee Week 2006.
