Nottingham News
Our Nottingham coordinator was interviewed about refugees and the refugee experience on BBC radio Nottingham during Refugee Week 2008.
An article featuring an interview with one of our Nottingham RAP volunteers was published in the Guardian on 30th July 2008. It points out that there is a lot of confusion over the different types of immigrants in Britain. It also mentions the new RAP website as well as discussing the rewarding aspects of being a volunteer.
The Refugee Awareness Project was again featured in an article in the Nottingham Evening Post on 31st July 2008. The Nottingham coordinator and one of the volunteers were interviewed about the project and commented on the positive impact the awareness raising sessions have had.
